More than once, we've heard someone say, "The Best is Yet to Come."
I've always liked that phrase because I believe it. For the believer,
the best is certainly yet to come when it has to do with heaven! And
there are many things about the future in this life that we have to
look forward to. But there is a little change in this title...the best
is LESS to come. It reminds us that a cluttered, busy, no-margin kind
of life is really not the kind of life we want to live. So the
question is, "How do we make room for life by eliminating all of the
extra unnecessary stuff that fills it right now?" Was it Socrates who
said: "An unexamined life is not worth living?" This series is
designed to help us escape the tyranny of more so that we can
experience the joy of less. And it is true in this case, that less is
indeed more.
