Update from Pastor Greg

Hey Church,

Our family is eagerly awaiting coming out to Omaha. It has been amazing and awesome to watch God put all the pieces together. We have bought a house in Omaha (just north of Champions Golf Course) and close on the house on July 8. Our home here in Michigan sold in about two days and we close on July 3!

I am planning on coming out to Omaha on July 27 or 28, and my wife (Laurie) and girls (Macey and Tessa) will be joining me on August 4 or 5 (they have some local birthday parties and events to attend).

This summer is going to be flying by for sure. Our July is filled with camp for our girls, ice cream adventures, saying goodbye to friends and family, and lots and lots of packing (sometimes I wonder how we got so much stuff).

I pray daily for King of Kings and thank God abundantly for the incredible honor and privilege I will have to serve here. I humbly ask for you to pray about the following for our family.

  1. Fruitful and heartfelt goodbyes that fill our lives with amazing memories of love here in Macomb
  2. Immanuel now begins to live in the tension of seeking out a new lead pastor. Pray specifically that where Satan would seek to divide, his arrows would be thwarted with grace and truth.
  3. Safe travel for our family to Omaha.

Lastly, we are so excited to see what God does for His kingdom through us together, and I know that this is a door opened by God, so it’s going to be a warehouse (seemed fitting) size door to do anything short of sin to reach those yet to be saved! Let’s hold on together because it’s going to be one fantastic ride on the wave (don’t forget I am originally from Cali) of His love.
