Above Average Parenting by Dr. Tim Riley

Northwest Campus
Looking for practical tools to navigate parenting? Licensed psychologist Tim Riley, PhD, will lead a 4-week parenting class at King of Kings Northwest (Concordia School, 156th & Fort St). This series is open to King of Kings and Concordia parents.
We’ll meet Wednesdays—February 25, March 4, March 11, and March 18—from 6:30-7:45PM. Register to let us know you’re coming and to share any childcare needs.

Lent Connect Group Bible Study

Looking for a simple way to go deeper in God’s Word this Lent? Join Campus Director Tyler Rohlfsen for a six-week verse-by-verse devotional through the Book of James at King of Kings Fremont. We’ll meet Wednesdays from 12–1PM, February 25 through April 1. Bring your lunch, come for as much time as you can, and experience the power of God’s Word to shape your life. Kid Ministry Security Update

Have a child checking in for Kids Ministry? Check-in opens at 9AM for first service and 10:40AM for second service at King of Kings Northwest Omaha. For safety, children will remain in the gym until a parent or guardian picks them up after service.

Loss of Spouse Seminar

Grieving the death of a spouse? You’re not alone. When you’ve lost your husband or wife, everyday emotions and tasks can feel heavy. Loss of Spouse is a one-morning seminar that offers practical help, hope, and a safe place to connect with others who understand.
This event takes place Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 9–11:30AM at King of Kings Millard in The CORE Gathering Room. Caring leaders from our Care and Prayer Ministry will guide the morning with meaningful teaching and conversation. Whether your loss is recent or years ago, you’re welcome.

Bricktacular: Family Building Challenge

Bricktacular Family Building Challenge is happening Thursday, February 27 from 5:30–7:30PM. This free event is built for families and features pizza, games, prizes, and a LEGO building competition. Registration closes February 25.

Grieving the death of a loved one? GriefShare is a 13-week group that walks with you through grief alongside people who understand. It’s for anyone who has lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend. You don’t have to go through this alone.
GriefShare meets Tuesdays, February 24–May 19, 2026, from 12:30–2:30PM in The CORE Gathering Room at King of Kings Millard. Each week focuses on practical topics like Is this normal?, guilt and anger, challenges, Why did this happen?, and What do I live for now?

Night to Shine

Fremont Campus
Help create an unforgettable prom-style evening for our friends with special needs. King of Kings Fremont is partnering with Trinity Lutheran Church to host Night to Shine in Fremont, Nebraska, on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 6PM–9PM.
Volunteers are needed before, during, and after the event to welcome guests, support activities, and help create a joyful, safe experience for everyone. Sign up through Planning Center using the link or QR code. Registration closes February 12, and details and next steps will be sent by email.

Wednesday Night Programming

Looking for authentic community centered around God’s Word? Connect Groups meet throughout the week in homes, and King of Kings Millard also hosts Wednesday night groups from 6:30–7:45PM. The Winter Session runs January 14–March 25, 2026.
Bring the whole family for dinner from 5:30–6:30PM (freewill offering). Kids programming is available on Wednesday nights for ages 6 weeks through Grade 5. Register your kids today and find a group that fits your schedule on our website.

The Collective: High School Student Camp

The Collective is our summer high school camp experience, held June 27–July 2 at the beautiful YMCA Camp of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado. Students from churches across Nebraska and around the country will come together for an unforgettable week of worship, adventure, and community, all led in partnership with Christ Greenfield in Gilbert, Arizona. This camp is designed to help students grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and encounter God in a powerful and personal way. The estimated cost is $800 (final travel details coming soon), and registration closes on March 1. We can’t wait to see what God will do as we step into One Adventure | One Community.

Wednesday Night Programming

Wednesday night programming returns for the winter season on Wednesday, January 14. Connect Groups will meet on campus at Concordia, with childcare available for children ages 3 through Grade 5 here.
Groups are available for a variety of ages and life stages and meet weekly from 6:30–7:45PM. This is a simple way to stay connected and grow together during the week.

Night to Shine • Serve with Us

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love for people with special needs ages 14 and older.  This coming year, on Friday, February 13, 2026, Night to Shine will be hosted by King of Kings. This will be the eighth year for this event at this location.

 

We would love for you to partner with us to elevate the experience for parents and honored guests.  We are planning for 225 honored guests, 200 plus parents or caregivers, and over 400 volunteers at the event. Sign up today! Learn more about the evening here.

Womens Bible Study

Looking to grow in your faith and build meaningful friendships with other women? Women’s Bible Study meets on Tuesdays from January 13 through February 17, 2026, from 9:30–11:15AM in the Core Gathering Room at King of Kings Millard. Pastor Greg Griffith will lead a six-week study he wrote, James: Faith in Action, exploring how faith endures trials, obeys, works, controls the tongue, submits to God, and waits and prays. No book purchase is needed—notes will be provided. Childcare is available.

Confirmation Registration

All Campuses
Confirmation is a two-year journey designed for middle school students. It’s a collaborative effort between parents and King of Kings Church, helping students passionately know Jesus for a lifetime.
Confirmation will occur this Fall, beginning Sunday mornings at 11AM from September 14 to November 16. This is a 10-week fall session followed by a 10-week spring session.

MomCo 2025-Spring 2026

Looking for fellowship and community with other women? Join King of Kings’ MomCo group!

Led by Erica Prest & Azalia Wheeler, this group will meet two Fridays each month from 9:30-11:30AM in the Haven (Sept. 19 – May 8).

MomCo is an international organization that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church. Any mother, from pregnant with first child to empty nester, is welcome (childcare will be provided). The mothers enjoy hot breakfast and coffee while listening to speakers, participating in group discussion, doing creative activities, going through devotionals, planning service projects, and creating deep friendships. Mothers do not have to be believers to join. Local and international dues apply.
