Band of Brothers Peak Challenge
Band of Brothers (Men’s Ministry at King of Kings) is organizing the 2019 Peak Challenge event in Colorado. This is the 14th year of Peak Challenge, and the theme for 2018 is “Fight the Elements.” The challenge this year will be held July 25-29 at Camp Hale Group Campground near Leadville, Colorado. The price to register is $75, and the registration deadline is June 15. Please go to www.peakchallenge.net for more information or to register.
Experience Lent in a new way this year as we focus each Wednesday on a tactile element that will lead us to a deeper experience of God’s grace. This series runs each Wednesday through Lent. You can also join us on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
All our Wednesday services during Lent have a noon classic option, as well as modern worship at 6:30PM. Please note that Kids Kount is only available during the 6:30PM worship, and that meals will not be served at either service time.
These services can’t happen without your help – sign up to join our guest experience team at www.kingofkingsomaha.org/serve.
As we look to King of Kings’ future, we want to make sure our facilities are best equipped to carry out our purpose. That’s why we are beginning a series of listening sessions to gather your ideas. Led by our architects, these sessions will help us discover what our future needs, dreams, and aspirations are. We’re excited to have your input as we begin to determine how our building can best be used to see lives transformed through connection to God, each other, and the world.
We’ll have sessions in The Haven on March 31 (9 & 10:45AM). Each session will last approximately 90 minutes. Please note that space for these sessions is limited. To help guide the discussion, please consider completing the brief survey at www.kingofkingsomaha.org/survey. After completing the survey, you’ll be able to register for a listening session if you haven’t already.
