Join us on September 29 as we partner with 30+ local churches and over 10,000 volunteers to show unprecedented compassion, unity, and diversity to our city as we magnify the name of Jesus through service projects around Omaha. Registration for CityServe costs $15/person, with a family maximum of $45. That includes lunch, a t-shirt, and service project costs. Once you’re registered, we’ll assign you a project. All you have to do is show up ready to serve. New this year is a serve option for students (grades 7-12) to serve at a site together with other students and student leaders (leaving after the 10:45am service)!

Volunteer Training Night
Are you volunteering/serving at King of Kings? If so, join us on Wednesday, September 4 from 6-8pm for our Volunteer Appreciation and Training Night. Whether you’re new to our team or have been serving for a while, we hope you’ll be here for a fun night of vision casting and training as we celebrate what God is doing here at King of Kings and the essential role you’ve played in that. Childcare is available for children ages 6-weeks through grade 5. Dinner will be provided, reservations are required.

Saturday Serve is a monthly opportunity to serve at the Open Door Mission with projects designed for adults as well as children ages 5 and up. This is a great opportunity to serve with your small group and meet others from King of Kings! Saturday Serve takes place from 9-11AM on the third Saturday of every month. New Student Service
We’re excited to build on the momentum we gained from summer student nights as we start an all new service in the Haven for middle school and high school students. It all begins September 8 at 10:45AM and includes worship, teaching, small groups, games, and food!
Small Group Wednesdays
Join us for Small Group Wednesdays starting September 11. Each night will begin with a meal at 5:30 and continue with study time at 6:30. Our fall session kicks off with a study of our new series Jesus and We, where Pastor Mark and Pastor Greg will begin each evening with an introduction, followed by small group discussion. Passion Conference 2020
King of Kings Student Ministry is embarking on an adventure at the end of this year as we head to Passion Conference — and you’re invited! Passion Conference is a gathering of 18–25 year old’s in Atlanta, Georgia from December 30 through January 3. The cost is $300, which includes transportation, conference, and dinners.

LWML • Lutheran World Relief
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) will be packing personal care kits and school kits for Lutheran World Relief this fall. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you
through the loss of a spouse, child, family member, or friend. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone!
